The research, sourcing, correction, and commercial-independence rules behind our guides.
Research and sourcing
We prioritize standards bodies, regulators, manufacturer documentation, support policies, and other primary material. Secondary sources can help identify questions but do not replace verification when a primary source is available.
What we do not claim
We do not describe laboratory testing, long-term ownership, or hands-on product use unless it actually occurred and the method is explained. General buying guides distinguish documented capabilities from inference and opinion.
Updates and corrections
Technology specifications, regional availability, subscriptions, and support policies change. Material is reviewed when credible corrections arrive or when a decision guide is materially affected by a change. Significant errors are corrected rather than silently preserved.
Commercial independence
Advertising and affiliate relationships are kept separate from editorial judgment. Payment does not guarantee coverage, ranking, or a favorable conclusion. Sponsored material, if introduced, will be labeled as such.
